School Dinner Money Increase
The cost of school meals, as suggested by Birmingham City Council is increasing by 10p to £2.30 per day or £11.50 per week from Tuesday 4th September 2018. Can we please remind all parents that dinner money must be paid every week and in advance. If children wish to change from dinners to sandwiches or vice versa you need to get in touch with the school office and give two weeks notice. This rule also applies to children who are entitled to free school meals. If your child is going from Year 2 into Year 3 then you will need to start paying for their school dinners unless they are entitled to free school meals or if you wish to have a packed lunch. This is because they will no longer be entitled to a meal under the Universal Free Meal Scheme.
