Annual School Reports 2018
I hope that you are pleased with your child’s report which you on Thursday 5th July. The report should inform you of your child’s attainment and progress as well as your child’s attitude to learning. It will also detail whether your child is working at or above age related expectations for their age group. Within the letters sent home will be the name of your child’s teacher for 2018 - 2019. Having read the report, please use the reply slip to indicate whether you would like an appointment to discuss any aspect of your child’s report. There will also be an opportunity for you to meet your child’s new class teacher. Appointments will take place on Monday 16th July between 3.30pm and 5.30pm.
Summer Fayre 2018 Friday 13th July
Summer Fayre - We will holding a summer fayre on Friday 13th July from 3.15pm.
To prepare for this we are holding a series of non school uniform days and are requesting donations towards the stalls.
Tuesday 3rd July– Bottles
Friday 6th July– Sweets and Chocolate
Tuesday 10th July-Cakes
Friday 13th July- £1 donation.
School Dinner Money Increase
The cost of school meals, as suggested by Birmingham City Council is increasing by 10p to £2.30 per day or £11.50 per week from Tuesday 4th September 2018. Can we please remind all parents that dinner money must be paid every week and in advance. If children wish to change from dinners to sandwiches or vice versa you need to get in touch with the school office and give two weeks notice. This rule also applies to children who are entitled to free school meals. If your child is going from Year 2 into Year 3 then you will need to start paying for their school dinners unless they are entitled to free school meals or toy wish for them to have a packed lunch.
