Marsh Hill Primary School is great school with supportive parents and enthusiastic children who enjoy learning. We are looking for experienced teachers who can make an effective contribute to school life.

Key Stage 2 MPS/UPS + TLR 2b (permanent)

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic classroom teacher to join our Management Team. Initially teaching in Key Stage 2, you will be responsible for the development of English across the school and lead a team.

 

The successful candidate will:

* Be an experienced and outstanding class teacher who can demonstrate a record of success in raising children’s attainment.

* Have high expectations of children’s learning, achievement and behaviour.

* Be able to drive further improvement and have the skills to embed improvements

* Have proven leadership and management skills.

You will be expected to:

* Have relevant KS2 experience and be an excellent classroom practitioner.

* Have high expectations for pupils' attainment and behaviour with a commitment to raising standards.

* Deliver learning in focused and exciting ways

* Have an approachable positive mind-set, and can build strong effective relationships with pupils, staff, parents and the wider community

Key Stage 1 MPS – Class Teacher - maternity cover (temporary until August 2020)

You will be expected to be:

* Highly effective, enthusiastic and committed teacher with current proven experience teaching younger children.

* Have relevant KS1 experience and be an excellent classroom practitioner.

* Have high expectations for pupils' attainment and behaviour with a commitment to raising standards.

* Deliver learning in focused and exciting ways

* Approachable positive mind-set, and can build strong effective relationships with pupils, staff, parents and the wider community

The year groups for these posts can be negotiated with the successful candidate depending on experience and the school’s needs. The above positions are not suitable for a newly qualified teacher.
